Help shape Rian Books · Fictional data only
Try the workflow. Tell us where it gets confusing.
We are inviting a small group of Irish business owners, volunteer treasurers, bookkeepers and accountants to test whether Rian feels clear to people who do not live in accounting software. No accounting or technical expertise is required.
What to expect
- 60–90 minutes, booked only after you choose a time
- Fictional invoices and bank rows supplied by Rian
- Notes are the default; recording is never assumed
- No obligation to buy or join a live-data pilot
Who we need
We want a small, useful mix, not a crowd. You do not need to be a Rian customer or prepare anything in advance.
- Small-business owner: runs a trade, service or other small Irish business and wants bookkeeping language to feel less intimidating.
- Retail or hospitality operator: deals with card settlements, daily takings, supplier paperwork or more than one VAT rate.
- Volunteer treasurer: helps a charity, club or community organisation and cares about a handover another volunteer can follow.
- Accountant or bookkeeper: reviews client records and can judge whether the evidence trail and handoff would reduce or add work.
What happens
- Tell us which perspective you bring: send a short enquiry with your role, organisation type and the bookkeeping task you know best. Do not send records or financial details.
- We confirm fit and arrange a time: your preferred window is not a booking. If the session fits, we explain the choices and privacy boundary, then offer two or three exact times before you decide whether to take part.
- Use Rian with fictional records: in a 60–90 minute remote session, you try the workflow while we observe where wording, navigation or decisions become unclear.
- Leave with no obligation: you can stop, skip a question or withdraw from the session. Taking part does not create an account, approve a pilot or require a purchase.
Your choices and data
This is product evaluation, not academic research, accounting advice or a live customer onboarding.
What we may ask: your role, broad organisation type, current workflow, what you expected to happen, and whether Rian's words and controls made sense. Recording is optional and must be agreed before the session.
What we will not ask you to upload: real invoices, bank statements, tax numbers, customer or supplier details, passwords, Revenue or CORE credentials, payroll records, donor or member lists, or any other live financial records.
No payment, gift or other reward is promised unless it is confirmed in writing before booking.
