Security and data protection

Rian Books is built by JMS Dev Lab for organisations that hold sensitive financial and membership information. Access is controlled, evidence is stored deliberately, and every material action leaves an audit record.

Controls

  • Access controls: named, authorised users with roles that match their responsibilities.
  • Evidence storage: source documents kept beside the accounting work they support.
  • Audit records: material actions recorded so review and handover stay honest.
  • Backups and recovery: regular backups so a pilot's records are not a single point of failure.
  • Malware scanning: uploaded evidence is scanned before it is retained.
  • Human responsibility: Rian prepares work while authorised people stay responsible for locking and filing.

Data-protection questions for a specific pilot are welcome. Raise them through the contact page and we will answer them in writing.
